Today marks four years as a gallerist – a third gallery location, 34 exhibitions organised, 566 artworks sold, and one international art fair completed.
More important than the numbers, however, is the emotion that art offers, the intellectual stimulation and the associations that artworks create, and the people one encounters through engaging with art, writes Artrovert gallery founder Siim Raie.

In cooperation with the Association of Art Institutions and the City of Tallinn, a new Tallinn Art Map has been launched, featuring 46 art museums and galleries across the city. The aim of the map is to raise awareness among both visitors and residents of Tallinn’s diverse art scene, make exhibition venues easier to navigate, and encourage more people to engage with art.

Artrovert Gallery’s fourth year of activity, 2025, was rich in content and successful in terms of exhibitions, audience engagement, and the revival of the art market, summarises gallerist Siim Raie.

The global art market is recovering from a downturn. The 12% contraction in 2024 was exceptional. By the end of the spring season, both auction results and sales at major art fairs are showing positive signs.

KIKUMU is a film, art, and music festival taking place from July 11–13 at Jäneda Training Centre. In addition to an excellent programme of music and cinema, the festival also features an Artrovert Gallery art space.

On June 11, we opened Saskia Järve’s painting exhibition “Reinvention” at Artrovert Gallery. The exhibition focuses on the human capacity for transformation and self-reinvention. It will remain open until July 12 at our gallery located at Ristiku 10, Tallinn.

“Earthly Unearthly” is a round-trip journey by three artists – Kristel Schwede, QBA (Martin Kaares), and Brenda Purtsak – a voyage to places that relax and inspire, that generate new ideas and awaken old memories. The exhibition is open during Villa Dombrovka’s opening hours.

Kadri Toom’s exhibition “At the Height of Lightness” brings together works by Kadri Toom that reflect volatile and fragile environments composed of fragments. The exhibition will remain open until 6 June 2025.

The 2025 Art Basel & UBS Global Art Market Report, compiled by Arts Economics, has been published. The report covers the key trends and statistics from the 2024 art market, and includes a special survey of art intermediaries (galleries, dealers, advisors).

During the evening, the guests were able to get acquainted with the NADA collection and the new bag rental service of Stella Soomlais. Perfume artist Tony Veiler took the guests to the world of fragrances, the mood was kept up by Vino Nobile. In addition, there was the opportunity to view the Artrovert gallery’s art collection.
