Henrik Hürden

Henrik Hürden (b. 1988) graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in scenography and has exhibited his works in both solo and group exhibitions. He is a member of the art group Art!šokk.

Henrik’s artistic practice deals with the conflict between the natural and the artificial. He is inspired by technical and mechanical objects, mythical narratives and long walks in nature. Henrik’s acrylic paintings often have a mystical or unusual atmosphere, frozen and recorded moments that the artist has brought to the viewer through theatricality.

“My goal as an artist is to open the world to the audience through my eyes and invite the viewer to stop, ask questions and notice details.” – Henrik Hürden
