Artrovert Gallery will take part for the first time in ArtVilnius’25, the largest contemporary art fair in the Baltics, held 3–5 October 2025 in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. The gallery’s presentation will focus on two distinctive solo positions: painter Eero Alev and printmaker Kadri Toom.
Founded in 2022, Artrovert Gallery represents the work of over 80 contemporary Estonian artists across 500 m² of gallery space — encompassing both emerging talents and established names.
Both artists featured at ArtVilnius’25 have previously exhibited at Artrovert in both the main exhibition program and showroom.
Kadri Toom (b. 1984) is an Estonian printmaker whose experimental approach extends far beyond the boundaries of traditional printmaking — in color, scale, format, and technique. Her works are unique (1/1), created through the layered combination of cyanotype, silkscreen, lithography, and collage. The result is bold, abstract compositions with an air of mystery and otherworldly playfulness, always crafted with exceptional attention to detail and quality.
Eero Alev (b. 1983) is an Estonian painter working in a realist tradition, yet his themes often turn inward — toward memory, childhood, and emotional nuance. Through depictions of children, nature, and architectural spaces, Alev explores solitude, longing, and inner landscapes. His paintings are atmospherically charged, where what is seen and what is sensed coexist in delicate balance.
The works selected for ArtVilnius’25 have been carefully curated for the context of the fair and reflect each artist’s most recent creative developments. We warmly welcome all visitors to discover these two distinctive Estonian voices in contemporary art at Artrovert’s booth at the Litexpo Exhibition Centre.
