Artrovert Gallery to Participate in Riga Contemporary 2026

From 2–5 July 2026, Artrovert Gallery will participate in Riga Contemporary 2026, presenting works by Estonian artists Gerda Hansen and Marleen Suvi.

Both artists represent a new generation of contemporary painters whose practices explore different forms of in-betweenness. Gerda Hansen investigates the relationship between digital image-making and traditional painting, creating works that shift between the familiar and the imagined. Marleen Suvi’s latest paintings draw on dreams, memory and emotion, inviting viewers into intimate spaces where certainty gives way to ambiguity.

The presentation reflects Artrovert Gallery’s ongoing commitment to promoting strong contemporary artists connected to Estonia and introducing their work to international audiences.

Founded in 2022, Artrovert Gallery operates a 200 m² exhibition space and a 300 m² showroom in Tallinn, presenting more than 80 emerging and established artists. Through exhibitions, international art fairs and collaborations, the gallery continues to build connections between Estonian contemporary art and collectors across Europe.
