Robert Sermat

Robert Mart Sermat was born in Canada in 1965, but his roots are in Valga on his mother’s side and Tartu on his father’s side. Sermat graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design’s Industrial Design program with a degree in furniture design in 1990.
As an artist, he explores the intersections between the medium of painting and metal as a material.
