Pille Ernesaks

Pille Ernesaks (1966) lives and works as a freelance artist in Tallinn. She graduated in choral conducting from the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School and in textile design from the Estonian Academy of Arts. She worked for many years as a television artist, creating numerous studio designs. After that period, Ernesaks turned her focus to painting. She enjoys working with large formats and favors spatial canvases, often without stretcher frames.

Ernesaks is a member of the Estonian Painters’ Association and the Estonian Artists’ Association. She has won public art competitions, actively participates in group exhibitions, and organizes solo shows.

In September 2024, Artrovert Gallery hosted her exhibition Eternal Sea“.
